This week On Motivation Monday I made three cards using Rolling Waves Bundle. When you look at this set, you see beautiful Rolling Waves! You think beach themed, and get all the summer vibes. I looked at this set from a new direction, and showed a few ways to think outside the box, and get the most from this set. In the first card, I used the waves as an interesting background. This is a fun-fold card, that looks difficult, but it is not. I made this using Violet Dreams Designer paper, and it has a punch out sheet of ephemera, that makes decorating a breeze! Here is a new (to me) fun fold, that adds a little interest to your card. I love that it's on a different angle, but that is also has a belly band that slips off to reveal the Happy Halloween sentiment inside. Give this one a try for something a little differrent. This beautiful card is made using the Sunflower 3-D embossing folder. I added a extra flip fold on the card, for extra room for a sentimental saying. This card just makes me happy! I love stencils, and this one with sunflowers even makes it better. I made a double flip card with a few very simple instructions. Give this one a try. Don't have stencils...use pattern paper instead. 1. White- 11" x 4-1/4"Score at 5-1/2" 2. White- 11" x 2-1/2"Score at 5-1/2" 1. Open both pieces, and lay front of both pieces together. 2. This card is a great way to use up your scraps. The 1/4" strips are put on a white piece of cardstock with an Adhesive sheet over it. This makes it easy for die cutting your balloon,, without or any shape you would like. The fun confetti adds playfulness without taking away from the focal point. This is a 2 way fun fold that is fun to make. The front is a easy fold back on the front, and the inside flips up. This gives you a lot of room if you need to write inside the card. The Bundle I featured is Balloon Festoon. I love that this Bundle can be used for cards, or scrapbooking. This is my go-to card when I want something simple, and this design gives you no paper waste. The sentiment "Hello Sunshine" lets the recipient know that you brighten their day. The summer colors are Crisp Cantaloupe, and Calypso Coral. I added a pop of color with Golder Glow, as a sunshine. The sunglasses, cup and visor are fun little elements for a great summer card. 1. This card uses the Mixed-up Patterns Designer Paper to make a colorful Summer card. This is a great way to show a variety of your paper. I die-cut a tag, and used that as a base for a cool refreshing glass of lemonade from the Ephemera pack. The sentiments are from another ephemera pack, and they are so fun to mix-n-match. Hello Sunshine! Sometimes the simplest supplies create the happiest cards! For this cheerful design, I let Stampin' Up! Ephemera do all the work. The adorable flip-flops, sunshine, seashells, and starfish came together in minutes at create a fun, b beachy scene that's perfect for sending a little sunshine to someone's mailbox.
