Sometimes simple really is best, and this card is a perfect example of that. I created this design using Stampin' Up! Square Snippets coordinating paper, and I just love how the patterned squares do all the work for you.

The deep Secret Sea color paired with Pretty Peacock Sprigs gives this card a calm, elegant feel while still having plenty visual interest.

The layered squares add popped up sprigs add texture and dimention without overpowering the design, making it a great layout for showcasing beautiful designer paper.

To finish it off I added a simple "hello" sentiment.

This is a great card design when you want something quick, polished and easy to mass-produce while still looking handmade and special.

1. Secret Sea- 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"

Score at 4-1/4"

2. Pretty Peacock- 5-1/4" x 4"

3. White- 5" x 3-3/4"

4. Stamp sentiment on white in Secret Sea

5. Cut 3 pieces of coordinating DSP 2"X2".

Glue to white.

6. Die-cut 2 sprigs, and layer on card front. Use Dimentionals on some of the leaves for depth.

7. Add twine and sequins

Today's card is a mix-n-match from three different paper packs!

I love how they all still coordinate to make a cute card, to let the recipient know that you are thinking about them.

The new embossing folder Lovely Stripes is a nice landing spot for the colorful designer paper.

I used the Square Snippets DSP, and cut various sizes ranging from 1/2"-1" to make a row of color. This is a great card design to use up your scrap paper on.

The cute bug ephemera was fussy cut out of the Cute as a Bug DSP, and the white sprig is ephemera from Hobby Haven.

I added the sentiment, and a bow to complete this sweet card.

Try making this card with your scrap paper, and let me know how you like it!
