Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Kimberly Gora

This week on Motivation Monday, I featured the Berry Botanical Vellum paper that you can get for just $5, with a $75 order.

The vellum was used on this card to create strips on a window sheet, to give the appearance of it "floating" above the card.

I then added some flowers using the "stamp off technique".

The sentiment labels are from Sweet Words & Labels Dies.

This week's card sketch is proof that you don't need a complicated design to create something beautiful!

The sketch features a standard A2 card base with a single focal layer and a simple banner element.

The banner can be used for a sentiment, a decorative accent, or both. That makes this sketch incredibly versatile.

Sketches provide a starting point while still leaving room for creativity. Whether you prefer clean and simple cards or enjoy adding extra layers and embellishments, this sketch can easily be adapted to fit your style.

Memorial Day is a time to pause and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have given us freedoms that we often take for granted. It is a day of gratitude, reflection, and remembrance.

For these Memorial Day projects, I chose a patriotic red, white, and blue color palette to honor those who served. The treat package, decorated with festive patriotic colors, is a simple way to share appreciation and kindness with others. The coordinating card, featuring stars and and heartfelt sentiment, serves as a reminder of pride and gratitude we feel for the sacrifices made by our military heroes and their families.

Crafting allows us to express our thoughts and emotions in a creative way, and these projects were inspired by the spirit of remembrance that Memorial Day represents.

May we never forget the cost of freedom and the heroes who made it possible.
