Stampin' Up! Sunset Coast

Today on Motivation Monday, we created several cards using the new Sunset Coast and Relaxing Waterside Bundles. These two play so nicely together. These sets are a must if you love the outdoors.

1. Smoky Slate Base- 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". Score at 4-1/4"

2. DSP- Black-5-1/4" x 4" Run thru machine with lighthouse Die.

3. Cut a piece of DSP sunset, to fit behind cut-out, and glue together. Then glue all to card front.

4. Emboss sentiment in white powder, and heat set.

5. Stamp and die-cut chair. Add to card with dimentionals.

6. Stamp/die-cut/color cup, and glue to chair.

7. Die-cut shells, and add to card

Add gems.

White- 5-1/4" x 4" inside

Here is a simple card sketch for this week. I used different sizes of circle punches.

Don't have punches...use dies, trace glasses, and fussy cut, be creative!

Use up scraps of designer paper.

Stampin' Up! Gusseted Gift Bag

Create a beautiful Mother's Day gift bag with me. This adorable bag features gusseted sides, floral detail, and a cute cut out handle.

This cute bag measures 4" x 6-1/4" and gives you nice gusset on the sides, for added room.

Leave off the hole for the handle, and you will have even more room for your surprise inside.

1. Start with a piece of Cardstock or DSP that is 12" (wide) by 10" tall.

If using directional paper, make sure the 12" is going long ways.

2. Score on the 12" side at 7/8", 1-3/4", 5-3/4", 6-5/8", 7-1/2", 11-1/2"

3. Turn and score on the 10" side at 2", 8-1/8"

Cut off 2 small rectangles on end that has 1 1/2" score line.

4. Cut off top section from left over to the 2"x4" piece. (leave this piece for flap)

5. Cut up score lines up to the 2" line at the 1-3/4", 5-3/4", 7-1/2", 11-1/2"

This is a gusseted bag.

fold in gussets, and glue side tab. Fold bag shut (tab should be on the inside)

6. Fold and glue bottom of bag.

Decorate as desired.
