Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Kimberly Gora

This sweet little purse is a clever way to give a card/giftcard in a whole new way!

It opens like a card, to show your message inside, but if you turn the card around, it has a hidden pocket, that serves as a hideaway for a little note, or giftcard.

This purse was made using Flirty Flamingo cardstock, and Love Notes DSP.

To watch the YouTube video: https://youtu.be/ems8EZC9d8E

1. Cut Flirty Flamingo Cardstock to 4-¼” x 11”. Score and accordion-fold long side at 4”, 5-½” and 7” to create purse base.

2. Cut Basic White Cardstock to 4” x 3-¾”. Stamp Sentiment in Real Red, and Adhere

layer to the inside of the purse base.

3. Cut (2) strips of DSP 4” x 1-¼” and glue to the middle sections on the inside of the purse base.

4. Cut 4” x 3-¾” piece of DSP Adhere

panel to the outside (front) of the closed purse base.

5. Cut Flirty Flamingo 4-¼” x 3-¼”. Score and fold short side at 1-¾”. Add adhesive to large

section on the inside and adhere to purse base so it folds over the closed purse.

6. Cut DSP 4” x 1-¼”, and adhere to small section folding over closed purse.

7. Cut about 6-1/4” of Ribbon and glue down both ends on the backside to create handle.

8. Cut Flirty Flamingo Cardstock to 4-¼” x 3-7/8". Add adhesive to only 3 edges and adhere to the backside of the purse (covering ribbon ends) to create back pocket.

9. Cut DSP 4” x 3-7/8” and layer over pocket on outside of purse.

10. Cut sentiment from DSP, add dimentionals and add to purse front.

This sweet card is made using the new Hearts of Love 3-D embossing folder. I love the rainbow of hearts, that this makes. (Try inking this folder, for a fun colored background.)

I also used the new Love Notes DSP. It was so simple to use my To the Point Punch to punch a piece of DSP for a focal point on the card front.

The added heart is also from a new set, that is absolutely adorable, called

Valentine Kisses Dies. I cut it out in Flirty Flamingo cardstock, and it adds to the embellishing of this card.
