Card Sketch #12 Playful Packaging
For this card sketch I stuck with the basic design on the sketch, but I did a little technique, blending the Irresistibly Yours Designer Specialty Paper with blending brushes to give it that WOW! If you have never used this fun paper before, look for it to become available again, and grab some! I went with patriotic colors since July is creeping up on us. The details on the starts make these so fun to work with. This card can be used for any Celebration! Graduation, July 4th,

Card Sketch #12 Natures Walk
It starts with a sketch, and ends with a beautiful design that would be perfect for a masculine card. I love the earthy colors, and feel to this one. The sprigs are carefree, and add the right amount for a focal point. The Designer paper has texture, and character. I added vellum to one of the cards to make it a little lighter. The strips being slanted adds interest I think. I hope you like this one. To see the original sketch visit here: Gallery To see how this one comes to

Card Sketch #12 Cute as a Bug
The ants go marching one by one hurrah hurrah.... Come on, you know you were signing along! :) These cute little bugs haven't been showcased enough, so I thought it was time to bring them out! What is cuter than marching ants! I kept this one simple by fussy cutting the Designer paper, to get all my images. I love both sentiments, Sending my love, and I'm here for you. Who wouldn't want that reminder! And I think the cute bugs will put a smile on their face also. To see the s

Card Sketch #11 Simple Sketch, Endless Possibilities
This week's card sketch is proof that you don't need a complicated design to create something beautiful! The sketch features a standard A2 card base with a single focal layer and a simple banner element. The banner can be used for a sentiment, a decorative accent, or both. That makes this sketch incredibly versatile. Sketches provide a starting point while still leaving room for creativity. Whether you prefer clean and simple cards or enjoy adding extra layers and embellishme

Card Sketch for April 20th
This card sketch is a great one for using your scrap pieces of DSP (Designer Series Paper). Maybe try embossing cardstock for your pieces. You can use a DSP for the background, or change that up also. Just give it a go, and see what you can create!

Stampin' Up! Made With Sweetness
Today's card is using a card sketch from this weeks challenge. I used the new Made With Sweetness Designer Paper, and the Stamp Set. I fussy cut the jar out of DSP, and the flower/leaves are from retired DSP Painterly Pears. The spoon is from a retired set names Latte Love. Give this sketch a try, and see what you can come up with. https://youtube.com/shorts/k2R9JJZ1zqk 1. Misty Moonlight- 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Score at 4-1/4" 2. White- 5-1/4" x 4 3. Stampin' Up! With You in Mind
This card sketch is #3 in my series. This card sketch can be transformed by adding a base that is 5" x 3-3/4". You can also use cardstock in place of the Designer paper. For this card I turned it into a Birthday card using Easter Joy Designer paper. I love the shine on this paper. I used a Lost Lagoon cord under the sentiment to add a little texture. Give this easy sketch a try, and have fun with it! https://youtu.be/hJXYBZf1UcY 1. Base- 8-1/2" x 5-1/2". Score at 4-1/4" 2. 3

Stampin' Up! Nature's Symphony
Today on Motivation Monday, I showed a card sketch that can easily be adapted to create any theme that you need. This card features Nature's Symphony Bundle. The sprigs in this Bundle steal the show, and create a great focal point. Surprisingly the DSP on this card is the flip side of Easter Joy. Who would have thought that Easter paper could be transformed to make this neutral earthy card. https://youtu.be/hJXYBZf1UcY 1.Base- 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Score at 4-1/4" 2. Early Espresso

Card Sketch #3
Today on Motivation Monday, I showed three very different cards, all using the same card sketch. The first was a Birthday card, the second was a Easter card, and the third was a feel good "you make me smile card." All of the cards were made with a very unexpected Easter Joy Specialty Designer paper . Would you like to see more card sketches? Join us once a week for a new sketch.

Stampin' Up! Card Sketch
Card Sketch Inspiration! Earlier this week, I shared a card sketch, and today we're bringing it to life! Sketches are one of my favorite ways to jump start creativity, because they give you structure while still allowing you to make it your own. For this card, we kept it simple with a friendly "hello" sentiment. Perfect for everyday card sending. While it's not specifically a Valentine card, those pink tones definitely give it that loving vibe if you want to use it that way.
