Today was all about Easter projects.
I made a 3-D basket that holds sweet treats with the Easter Basket Bundle. It is a great way to have fun decorating, and getting creative.
I also made a shadow box card using very few supplies.
This is a great card to showcase a new technique, embossing, and to show off Ephemera.
The simple sentiment is front and center, and adds a perfect focal point, to draw your eye in to the center of the card.

Today I'm sharing a beautiful shadow box card that has a soft and elegant look.
The base of the card it white, so it really lets all the elements shine!
On the front, I embossed delicate flowers to give the card texture, while still keeping it clean. The simple "hello" in blue really stands out against the white background, and draws your eye right to the center of the card.
To finish it off, I added floral Ephemera to the front for a layered look. It also makes the card feel fresh, and perfect for Spring.
Shadow box cards are such a fun way to add depth and a little surprise to a handmade card.

1. White- 11" x 4-1/4". Score at 5-1/2"
2. White 6-1/4" x 5-1/2". Score on the 6-1/4" side at 1/2", 1" on both ends. Burnish in a z-fold on both ends.
3. Die cut an arch #5 (from smallest to largest) in the center of step 2 above.
4. Emboss step 2 thru die-machine
5. Die-cut #5, #6 arch together, to create a slim decorative arch, and glue around cut out arch/white.
6. Add Ephemera pieces to front, and add to card with Dimentional.
7. Flip white over, and add a piece of acetate strip 4"x 1/2" to center of arch with scotch tape.
Add step 2 to card base, glueing only the z-fold edges.
7. Die-cut word, and add to acetate only.
8. You can add more Ephemera inside (rabbit) if desired.

1. To make box for treats.
White C/S 3-1/4" x 4-1/4"Score on all 4 sides at 1"
2. Score, and glue to create a box, by cutting up score lines on each side, and glueing tabs.
3. Make baskets by die-cutting them, and stamp/die-cut elements to decorate your baskets.
Glue a basket to each side of your box.
Fill with your favorite sweet treat
