For this card sketch I stuck with the basic design on the sketch, but I did a little technique, blending the Irresistibly Yours Designer Specialty Paper with blending brushes to give it that WOW! It starts with a sketch, and ends with a beautiful design that would be perfect for a masculine card. I love the earthy colors, and feel to this one. The sprigs are carefree, and add the right amount for a focal point. The Designer paper has texture, and character. I added vellum to one of the cards to make it a little lighter. This week on Motivation Monday, I featured the Berry Botanical Vellum paper that you can get for just $5, with a $75 order. The vellum was used on this card to create strips on a window sheet, to give the appearance of it "floating" above the card. I then added some flowers using the "stamp off technique". This is a fast way to cut up your Designer paper, and still have a WOW factor. Follow this simple cutting guide, and cut several pieces at once, and mix and match for a even more interesting layout.
