The card sketch for this week (May 11, 2026) is another great one to use, if you 1) Like tearing paper 2) Like using up your scrap 3) Need a quick and simple card.

You can add a background, or a extra banner or two.

You have fun with this one, and see what you can create!

Below are three cards I made using this sketch. All are very different!

This is a fast way to cut up your Designer paper, and still have a WOW factor.

Follow this simple cutting guide, and cut several pieces at once, and mix and match for a even more interesting layout.

This is awesome for stash busting!

1. Basic Black- 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"Score at 4-1/4"

2. White inside- 5-1/4" x 4"

3. DSP- cut to 5-1/4" x 4"

Turn Portrait, and cut at 1-1/4". Set other half aside. Take the piece you just cut, and turn landscape, and cut at 3-1/4"

4. Take remaining 1/2, and cut landscape at 2-1/4".

You will have 4 pieces total.

Put scene back together, by gluing to card front.

5. Die-cut birds in black

Shells in Grape, Balmy Blue,

Net in Basic Beige

Stamp and punch out sentiment on white.

Add to card with dimentionals.

6. Add sequin
