Today I played with ink and embossing folders.

Have you ever tried to use a Brayer, or maybe stamp with your ink pad directly on the embossing folder?

This card is the result of inking my folder directly, on the smooth side, sandwiching white cardstock on top, and running it thru the machine, to create color, and depth all at the same time.

It is a quick technique to try, that adds a bit of interest to your cards. I added an ephemera sentiment, and BAM...all done!

I showed several different ways to get fun results with different product, and techniques in today's video. Make sure you are subscribed to my YouTube, to get the video tutorials when they are released.

1. White Base- 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"

Score at 4-1/4"

2. Flirty Flamingo 5-1/4" x 4" Glue to card base.

3. Die cut large Postage Stamp Die cut with White C/S.

4. Using your Real Red stamp pad, apply ink directly to folder on flat side. Emboss a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of White C/S inside the folder, with ink.

5. Apply embossed piece to Postage stamp die-cut. Wrap ribbon around both pieces, and add dimentionals, and glue to card.

6. Add Ephemera piece to card front.

Add sequins if desired.
