Shepherd's Care Embossed Elegance

For my first card, I focused on texture and simplicity. I used an embossing technique that really makes the delicate shepherd image shine. The raised details bring out the warmth and comfort in this set, making it a perfect card to send for Christmas, or just as a reminder to us all. We all need peace!

1. White-8-1/2" x 5-1/2"


Score at 4-1/4"


2. Crumb Cake-4-1/4" x 5-1/2"


3. Misty Moonlight- 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"


4. Stamp on #2, #3 with Versa and stamp of choice. I used Star on Blue and town on Crumb Cake. Heat emboss with clear embossing powder.


5. Ink blend color on both pieces, using same color as cardstock. Wipe off resist.


6. Split #2, #3 diagonally the same way. Glue to white card front.


7. Stamp dots on a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of Balmy Blue. Glue to card center.


8. Stamp Shepherd in Early Espresso, and fussy cut out.


9. Wrap twine, and glue to card front. Add dimentionals to shepherd, and glue over twine.


10. Stamp sentiment on 1/2" x 2-1/2" white scrap in Misty Moonlight
